This new quarterly journal from the School of Global Affairs and Public Policy at the American University in Cairo is a forum for the discussion of subjects in Middle East and American studies, law, migration, communications, and gender. Featuring a wide range of international contributors, The Cairo Review does not restrict itself to Middle East issues, but also provides commentary and analysis from within the region on a variety of topics. Initial numbers include articles about President Obama's foreign policy, women's empowerment, globalization, water wars in the Middle East, and South Africa in the post-Mandela era. A regular highlight is The Cairo Review interview with a leading international personality involved in global affairs and public policy.
